Salon De Belleza is an exercise in world-building and the pursuit of an all-inclusive sense of beauty.

An abruptly honest space where clients can commune with the soft, colorful and oftentimes confusing essence of their being. Instead of bloating our society with yet another set of unachievable beauty standards, our collection embraces the self: equal parts ugly and sweet.

Loose yet vibrantly dyed fabrics are adorned with insects, childlike sentiments and intentional asymmetry. In the present time, any place associated with beauty is hyper-idealized, plastic and vain. Behind such eyes lay the prettiest pieces of our soul. True beauty, hides a little unexpected ugliness inside.

The clothes themselves seem to be yearning for a sense of “constructed beauty” , something more established and approved. In that pursuit, they reveal the wants and needs of its wearer. The “carefree-ness” that arises from an artist now unconcerned by external input on himself or his work.

Much of this is achieved through color and textile experimentation. Our denim is made in a sustainable washhouse where artisans explore corrosive blends of yellow, orange and the deepest of maroons. Imbuing our skirts with an otherworldliness that heavily contrasts with the quotidian tradition of these hues. Grey’s interact with blues and greens to add a layer of depth and “coolness” to the brightest of cotton fabrics.

LEBLANCSTUDIOS hopes to create a new Beauty Parlor. Championing the real and flawed over what's expected and traditional.

A space made for and by “true” beauty.

A space for all to be themselves.

A celebration between the mundane and the supernatural.
